For Data Entry Operator, candidates should have:
- HSSC or an eligible equivalent qualification.
- A minimum six-month Diploma/Course Certificate in Computer from a recognised institution.

Candidates applying for Junior Assistant must have:

Computer Qualification Exemption
Candidates possessing a recognised Degree/Diploma in Computer, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication or Electrical and Electronics may be exempted from submitting the prescribed six-month computer course certificate for LDC/Recovery Clerk, Data Entry Operator and Junior Assistant posts.
Candidates having an eligible ITI Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) qualification may also be covered under the exemption provisions.

Goa SSC Group C Selection Process 2026
The selection process for these posts will be conducted through a Two-Tier Computer Based Test (CBT) along with the applicable typing/skill test.

The first-tier examination will carry 60 marks.
CBT-II Exam Pattern
The second-tier examination will carry 80 marks.
Negative Marking
There is no negative marking in the Computer Based Test.

Konkani Language Test
Knowledge of Konkani is an important eligibility requirement for the advertised posts.

Final Merit List
The final merit list will be prepared mainly on the basis of CBT-II performance, subject to candidates qualifying in the mandatory typing/skill test wherever applicable.
For LDC/Recovery Clerk, Data Entry Operator and Junior Assistant, eligible candidates may be given an opportunity to exercise their preference for the post based on their merit and eligibility.
Once the candidate exercises the applicable option, it will be treated as final.
